Who we are

Navo is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC199657.
What we collect
Name, email address, property details (address, price, tenure), transaction progress, and documents you upload. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used).
Why we collect it
To provide the service you signed up for. Our legal basis is contract performance.
Documents
Files you upload are stored securely and used only to support your transaction. We do not share them with third parties except where you explicitly request it (e.g. your solicitor).
Affiliate links
Some of our recommendations are affiliate links. If you click through to a partner — such as AnyVan (removals), MoneySuperMarket or GoCompare — and go on to book or buy, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We make this clear before you click. These partners, and the Awin affiliate network we use for AnyVan, set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy policies (awin.com/gb/privacy). We only record that a click occurred, never what you do on their site.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for up to 2 years after closure, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Email privacy@mynavo.co.uk to exercise these rights.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. Navo itself does not run advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
If you choose to click an affiliate link — for example “Get quotes” for removals with AnyVan — the partner sets a third-party cookie (through the Awin affiliate network) so that any booking you make is credited to us. This happens only when you tap the link; nothing is set beforehand, and you can decline simply by not clicking. See “Affiliate links” above.
Third-party services
To provide Navo we use the following sub-processors — companies that handle your personal data on our behalf. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and handles your data only as we instruct.
Supabase
Stores all account data, transaction details, and uploaded documents. Data is held in EU data centres. supabase.com/privacy
Vercel
Hosts and serves the Navo application. Access logs (including IP addresses) are retained briefly for security and performance. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
Anthropic
When you upload a document, its contents are sent to Anthropic's API to classify the document type (e.g. ID, mortgage offer). Document data is not used to train AI models. anthropic.com/privacy
Postmark
Sends transactional emails on our behalf (notifications, weekly summaries) and receives emails forwarded to your unique Navo document inbox. Email contents and attachments pass through Postmark's servers before being processed and stored by Navo. postmarkapp.com/privacy-policy
If you sign in with Google, your name and email address are shared with us by Google as your identity provider. policies.google.com/privacy
GoAddress
Used during onboarding to look up your property address from a postcode. Only the postcode you enter is sent (via our server). goaddress.io
